UNAIDS-sponsored project gets longer

VGP – Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed to extend the deadline for the project “Strengthening capacity of the National Committee for AIDS, Drugs and Prostitution Prevention and Control on policy monitoring and campaign” till December 31, 2014.
The project is financed by the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
The Deputy PM assigned the Government Office to sign the amended document with the UNAIDS and work with relevant agencies to launch the project.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of monitoring and mobilizing resources, campaigning policies to prevent HIV/AIDS of the committee.
Specifically, the project will improve the management and planning works of HIV/AIDs prevention and control and increase the capacity of representatives and staff at the Central and local agencies.
It also enhances the abilities and cooperation of social organizations and civil society in HIV/AIDS prevention activities and supports HIV-infected people.
